The blue planet team wishes you all a healthy and successful year 2022! After the ups and downs of the past year, we can only hope that the next few months will be calmer, but no less busy.

Unfortunately, the 'Internationale Tourismus Börse' ITB (International Tourism Exchange) in Berlin will not be held as a public trade fair in 2022, but only as a digital event. Nevertheless, our next projects are already taking shape:

In the spring, we will visit the Cayman Islands and their diving and nature reserves in the Caribbean. The documentary will certainly be a feast for the eyes of outdoor fans and water sports enthusiasts. We are delighted that Hannes Jaenicke has once again agreed to appear in this production. blue planet tv has already worked with the well-known actor and conservationist in Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and Costa Rica.

After several years of Covid break, we then again want to document the work of the Hugo Tempelman Foundation in the northeast of South Africa. In the province of Mpumalanga, the partner organization "Ndlovu Care Group" has greatly expanded its social projects despite the pandemic and achieved great successes nationwide, especially in the health sector and medical research. Doing good and talking about it: That is our motto here.

By the way, in the first half of the year we will produce another travel documentary in Ireland. The planning for this is currently in full swing. But the celebrity tour guide will remain a secret for now. More about that later! It remains exciting!

Our productions in the press

The filming in the Principality of Liechtenstein and in Lower Silesia/Poland (August/September 2021) was great fun for everyone involved... and obviously also for our partners in the respective countries and regions.

Our cooperation partner "Liechtenstein Marketing", who as well had to look after Hape Kerkeling and his production "Hape und die 7 Zwergstaaten" (VOX) during the same period, therefore had a lot to do in August. His report about our shooting was very positive. Here!

The production in Wroclaw/Lower Silesia was well prepared, but unfortunately had to deal with very frequent rain. The consequence: Instead of a strict shooting schedule... Improvisation depending on the weather! Wroclaw expert and author Malgorzata Urlich-Kornacka summarized the working days with our team for "silesia-news". Here!

What we do

Whether in the Australian Outback, in the urban canyons of Hong Kong, in the Rocky Mountains or in rural Lower Saxony: the team of blue planet tv is at home all over the world. In our travel magazines we present interesting and trendy destinations. It does not always have to be the Caribbean!

There are certainly many ways to bring exciting destinations closer to TV viewers. We have taken our own path and work with celebrities from film, television and sports. The result is our successful travel format "This is my ...". Each episode is a very personal travelogue, exciting and charming.

In addition to travel magazines, we also produce classic reports and documentaries. Our TV series "Myth Hong Kong" or the documentary on AIDS orphans in South Africa in 2017 are only two examples. In addition, we produce and design image films for TV, cinema and the Internet.
