New productions - an overview

In April, the US Sunshine State of Florida beckons with two locations: Kissimmee and Charlotte County. Then, the tour guide will be actor and "Tatort" detective Richy Müller.

Only a little later, in May, a second team will fly off to Croatia, or Dalmatia to be precise. The tour guide for this edition of the "VIP Trip" series is former world boxing champion Nikki Adler (photo).
Incidentally, the fighter is of Croatian descent and lives in Düsseldorf. The presentation of the programme is likely to be quite a sporting affair this time. blue planet tv has already worked with Nikki Adler in South Africa.

Another travel report with a selected culinary focus is also on the agenda. With TV chef Johann Lafer, we will be focussing on Asian-Chinese cuisine in Hong Kong. A record for German television, by the way: This will be our 50th production from the city on the Pearl River Delta.
The second half of the year already features a real highlight. In August, a luxury cruise along the coasts of Iceland and Greenland is on the programme. A joint project with the Australian shipping company "Scenic Cruises International". In the video (see below!) you can see some excerpts from a cruise in the Antarctic (with thanks to: SCI).

By the way, another culinary programme is planned for the second half of the year. This time on Tenerife. The aim will be to present delicious regional specialities and try out exciting recipes. Stay tuned!

What we do

Productions

Whether in the Australian Outback, in the urban canyons of Hong Kong, in the Rocky Mountains or in rural Lower Saxony: the team of blue planet tv is at home all over the world. In our travel magazines we present interesting and trendy destinations. It does not always have to be the Caribbean!

There are certainly many ways to familiarise TV viewers with exciting travel destinations. We have chosen our own path and work in front of the camera with celebrities from film, television and sport. The result is our successful travel format "VIP Trip" The development began with the format series "This is my..." (produced for n-tv): Each episode is a very personal travelogue, excitingly and charmingly told.

In addition to travel magazines, we also produce classic reports and documentaries. Our TV series "Myth Hong Kong" or the documentary on AIDS orphans in South Africa in 2017 are only two examples. In addition, we produce and design image films for TV, cinema and the Internet.
