Sigmar Solbach »This is my South Australia«
The first TV appearance of Sigmar Solbach took place in 1976 on the Hessicher Rundfunk with the trilogy “Der Winter, de ein Sommer war.” In the following years one engagement followed the next: “Tatort” (ARD), “Schwarzwaldklinik” (ZDF), “Traumschiff” (ZDF), “Das Erbe der Guldenburgs” (ZDF): Sigmar Solbach particitated in every bigger tv production. One of his most significant roles surely was in the RTL-Show as “Dr. Stefan Frank – Der Arzt, dem die Frauen vertrauen”. Aside from his engagements in television he frequently impersonates roles on stage. His area of activity also includes working as a voice actor, among others as the tv voice of James Stewart, Errol Flynn and Joel McCrea.
